Cargo test

Our tensile testing machine enables precise testing of hooks up to a tensile and compressive force of 10 tons.
The geometry of the hook is crucial for the pulling force. Additional technical details and drawings from test series are available on request.

Recommended load limit for painting hooks made of iron wire S23
The information refers to square painting hooks with article number 121.1.
- Example using a square C-hook with a diameter of 10 mm:
long-term use: 120 kg = max. value 240 kg without deformation - short-term use: 173kg = max. value 519 kg with strong deformation without releasing the load

Guidelines for the load on paint hooks
Mechanically load-bearing parts according to DIN EN 13155:2020
long-term use (SF2) corresponds to:
Elastic state: The mechanical load-bearing parts must be designed to withstand a static load equal to twice the load they must withstand under the intended operating conditions without permanent deformation occurring.
short-term use (SF3) corresponds to:
Plastic state: The mechanical load-bearing parts must be designed to withstand a static load equal to three times the load they must withstand under the intended operating conditions, without the load becoming loose, even if this involves permanent deformation.
