A simple battery-operated device which indicates in 5 steps whether the material to be painted is sufficiently earthed. To do this, attach the alligator clip to a known earthing point. Poor grounding of the coating material usually results in inferior quality of the electrostatic coating application. You will then receive insufficient coating thicknesses or even completely uncoated parts. Point the tool at the part to be painted and touch the tip to the bare metal surface. At the simple push of a button, the result now appears via two green, one yellow or two red lamps.

0 - 0.01 Ω One green LED
0.01 - 0.1 Ω Two green LEDs
0.1 - 1.0 Ω One yellow LED
1.0 - 20 Ω One red LED
20 Ω Two red LEDs
