Area Sales Manager (m/f/d) Eastern Germany

Full-time (40 hours per week)

Your responsibilities:

  • Strategic sales planning and management:
    You will coordinate your sales activities in a forward-looking and cost-effective manner, pursue business objectives and regularly implement sales measures to promote sustainable growth.
  • Customer service and product development:
    You will look after our active customers in eastern Germany and provide expert advice to our existing and potential new customers on effective solutions in the painting process, develop individual proposals for rack mountings and contribute innovative ideas to the collaboration with the design department.
  • New customer acquisition and market observation:
    You will independently acquire new customers through research and enjoy using modern media such as Xing and LinkedIn. You will also monitor the competition in order to gain valuable insights for the development of new strategies. In addition, you will follow our business management guidelines and implement regular sales measures, such as new products or participation in trade fairs.
  • Interface function and innovation:
    You will act as an interface between the customer and the design department, promote the further development of products and ideas, and thus contribute to continuous improvement and innovation.

Your profile:

  • You have completed commercial training and/or a technical college degree.
  • Ideally, you have some initial experience in the paint industry.
  • You are a determined individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have an analytical approach to work with a strong customer focus.
  • You enjoy finding creative solutions and approach technical challenges in a structured manner.
  • You have a sound knowledge of MS Office and common IT programmes.
  • You have a Class B driving licence and are willing to travel extensively.
