As part of PaintExpo 2026 in Karlsruhe, we held a load-bearing challenge at our booth. We had a clear goal: to raise awareness of the topic of load-bearing capacity.
The challenge was simple yet demanding:
Visitors were asked to hold a paint hook with their arm outstretched for as long as possible. This quickly made it clear that load capacity is a critical factor for safety in the coating process. With this challenge, we wanted to make this topic tangible and more experiential.
For every minute held, we pledged 1€ to the “Kleine Strolche” children’s home.
Over the course of the trade show, the hook was held for a total of 290 minutes. A result that greatly impressed us and demonstrates just how high the participation and commitment of the visitors were.
The high score is also impressive: 143 seconds—a strong performance!
As a partner company of “Kleine Strolche,” it is particularly important to us to support the important work of the organization.
We have therefore doubled the 290€ raised during the challenge and rounded it up to 600 €.
