Elefantenhaut masking tape is an exceptionally durable masking tape designed for applications where the surface is exposed to high mechanical stress. Thanks to its durable crepe paper and natural rubber adhesive, the tape is particularly well-suited for sandblasting and sanding. With a material thickness of 0.67 mm, it reliably protects the covered areas from mechanical impact and allows for precise masking of surfaces that are not to be processed. The masking tape is heat-resistant up to 100 °C and has an adhesive strength of 3.5 N / 10 mm. The rolls are 10 meters long and are available in three different widths as standard. Upon request, custom widths between 2 and 1,230 mm can also be supplied. Note: For two-color coatings (color-on-color), the masking tape should be tested in advance to ensure it is suitable for the specific application.
